Sales Support Executive Customer Service - Distribution

 


Working within the CSD being responsible for the provision of sales order processing support. Working with a team of distribution partners, overseas offices and Business Division Managers.

Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Customer service support to external distributors and provision of order taking, complaint handling, supply chain co-ordination
  • Key focus is pre sales activity, Order processing
  • Key task include lead push out, point of contact for general enquiries e.g. Technical/ product (forward to correct team if can’t answer)
  • Day to day order processing queries (product availability, shipping co-ordintaion)
  • Support of future “internet” based sales channels e.g. ebay, elcometer shop, etc.


About You: 

Experience

Essential

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in target driven and results orientated environment with a background from sales, customer service, sales support, product management, general business development functions.
  • Quantifiable track record of customer management and/ or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of customer service, sales order processing, handling full range of associated administration and system duties

Desirable

  • Previous technical sales and marketing experience would be desirable
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Knowledge and experience of e-commerce

Skills

  • English + one other language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate attributes of technically orientated products over the phone
  • Strong sales & customer service skills
  • Resilient & able to deal with deadlines and customer issues
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • IT Literate – Word, Excel, and CRM systems
  • Data entry (Attention to detail is essential)
