Elcometer’s UAE office, based in Jadaf, Dubai, has officially opened its doors to their new, state-of-the-art training facility.

Continued growth and increased demand across the Middle East and Asia, along with the introduction to Elcometer’s new range of blast equipment, has resulted in the need for further expansion at the Dubai office location.

Managing Director at Elcometer, Michael Sellars, said “Elcometer has developed excellent trading relationships in Asia and the Middle East and the new training centre in Dubai allows for our dedicated team of in-house sales, service engineers and training personnel to provide our Asian and Middle Eastern customers with the highest levels of customer support that they have come to expect from Elcometer.”

For the opening of the training centre, Regional Sales Manager, Craig Woolhouse, and Technical Support Manager, David Barnes, travelled to the new Elcometer UAE training centre to deliver a three-day seminar to representatives of Elcometer distributors from 10 countries across the Middle East and Asia.

For the first two days, attendees were shown products from Elcometer’s blast range, trained on the features and benefits of Elcometer blast systems and took part in a virtual reality demonstration of blasting. The final day focused on training in the coatings inspection, NDT & concrete inspection range.

Regional Sales Manager at Elcometer, Craig Woolhouse said “The seminar in Dubai was a great success; we were able to show and explain our high pressure, high efficiency blast range as well as train distributors further on our coatings inspection, NDT & concrete inspection equipment. This makes it easier for our distributors to support customers in Asia and the Middle East.”
