Referral Scheme Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

1) The free draw is open to all adults aged 18 years or over, except employees of Elcometer Limited, their families, or any third party directly associated with the administration of the draw.

2) Upon your referral booking & paying for an Elcometer 456 training course, you will be entitled to enter the prize draw. All referrals must be made in writing to melissa.hayward@elcometer.com in order to qualify for this competition.

3) To enter, participants must refer their colleagues to book a paid Elcometer 456 training course. Only one entry per company is permitted for the prize draw.

4) 1 winner will be chosen by random draw from all 2024 competitions entries performed by an independent adjudicator.

5) 1 winner will receive an Elcometer 456 Coating Thickness Gauge. We are not responsible for any costs associated with receiving the prize i.e. import duties.

6) We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of similar or greater value if circumstances beyond our control makes it necessary to do so.

7) The winner will be notified by email (using the details provided at entry). The winner must provide a postal address to claim their prize and agree to the publication of their name and county in accordance with 14 below

8) We will send the prize to the winner by post within 14 days of being notified of the winner’s postal address.

9) The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The Elcometer 456 training course is non-refundable if cancelled.

10) Our decision regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into about it.

11) You are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules upon entry. We reserve the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these rules.

12) We reserve the right to hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

13) Insofar as is permitted by law we will not be responsible for, or liable to compensate the winner for, or accept any liability for any loss or damage, except where it is caused by our negligence.

14) Postal addresses provided during the course of the free draw may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for delivery of the prize to the winner.

15) The free draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the free draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

16) “We”, “our” and “us” are references to Elcometer Limited, Edge Lane, Manchester, England M43 6BU.
