Business Systems Assistant

To provide effective support for end users of Epicor Kinetics and integrated systems both locally and globally, and to work as part of the Business Systems team on continuous improvement projects to improve operational efficiency.

5 GCSE including English & Maths (A-C or equivalent)

 Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Epicor user issues reported via the helpdesk.
  • Maintain users and access rights on Epicor Kinetics.
  • Assist in training, data migration and go-live transitions for all integrated and supported business systems.
  • Generate test environments to test new or upgraded software.
  • Data extraction and manipulation.
  • Write training and instruction guides for Epicor Kinetics.
  • Deliver functional training.

Experience

Essential

  • None

Desirable

  • Epicor/Kinetics ERP
  • Experience of relational databases
  • Understanding of functional processes: Finance, Sales, Procurement etc
  • Business process mapping

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise, multitask and handle varied work.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to write training guides.
