Dangerous gases are common within industrial environments and often remain undetected due to their colourless, odourless nature. Breathing in these gases can cause symptoms of flu, headaches and tiredness, with ongoing exposure leading to long-term health issues.
The GX4® Gas Monitor is designed to to detect toxic gas in the environment and breathing apparatus, providing feedback to the blaster on the cleanliness of air they are breathing.
Gases are detected via installed pre-calibrated cartridges which are designed for the harshest of environments and can detect up to four gases simultaneously, including carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulphide and oxygen.
If gases reach a dangerous level, a 103dB staccato alarm sounds to alert operators that they are at risk - for increased awareness, optional extras such as external alarms and strobe lights can also be implemented.
In the event of a power cut, the unit will run for 18 hours thanks to its built-in safety power reserve. What's more, as the GX4® can be connected to your phone, laptop, tablet or network, you can download real-time or historical data and report on air quality from remote settings.
