Introducing the GX4 Gas Detection Monitor

As you know, compressed breathing air can create a deadly environment. How can you ensure you and your employees are protected? By using the ultimate gas detection system. The industry-leading RPB GX4 Gas Monitor is an electronic multi-gas detection system, designed to give you complete confidence in the supplied air that you breathe.

Gases such as carbon monoxide are invisible to all the human senses yet are commonly found in industrial premises worldwide. While low level carbon monoxide exposure may not be immediately fatal, ongoing contact with a gas at low levels has a cumulative effect, causing serious illness and long-term health concerns. With symptoms often confused with the flu, headaches, or tiredness, it's a serious problem which is often too easily ignored.

The GX4 combats this, by tracking and logging the quality of supplied air, monitoring up to 4 gases simultaneously, including carbon monoxide, oxygen, and carbon dioxide.

It is easy-to-use. With its illuminated information display screen you can view real-time data and access or alter any of the unit settings.

Should the unit detect any contaminants in the air, you will be alerted by the 103 decibel built-in staccato alarm. External alarms and strobe lights are also available, and can be connected to the GX4 via the auxiliary plug. Or you can customize warnings utilising the 12-volt outlet plug. For example, automatically switching off any connected devices.

For ease of ongoing servicing, all sensor cartridges have a 2 year shelf life and are easily fieldreplaceable, with no requirement to remove the monitor off site or send away for servicing.

To do this simply push the sensor cartridge release button, remove the expired sensor cartridge from your unit, and replace it with a pre-calibrated sensor cartridge, which is ready for use straight off the shelf.

In-between sensor replacements, calibration checks can and should be performed using calibrated gas. This is a quick and easy check that requires no set-point adjustments.

To view the GX4’s real-time and log data, simply log in to the unit’s built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, on either your smartphone, tablet, or laptop. Alternatively connect your GX4 to a network and access the data from any device connected to that network, even if you are off-site.

The GX4 has been engineered to withstand the harshest of environments. With the carefully selected engineering grade materials, this unit is near indestructible. Electronics are located in a robotically sealed, airtight compartment, protecting them from moisture and oil damage - a common issue with previous monitors available on the market.

Running off mains power supply, the GX4 also has a built-in safety power reserve, ensuring the unit will continue to run for 18 hours if power is cut to the unit. Alternatively the rechargeable lithium polymer batteries can be used to run the unit full-time, making it easily portable.

The GX4 can be surface mounted, wall-mounted using the GX4 wall bracket, or mounted directly to an RPB Radex Airline Filter, with which it pairs perfectly.

If you're looking for the ultimate gas detection system then the GX4 Gas Monitor is the product for you. Don't leave the health and wellness of your employees to chance.
